This is a fun way for students to practice decimals in all their forms!
~ 24 decimal models (The standard 100-block now represents the 1)
~ Double Bingo Card template
~ 3 sets of calling cards
HOW TO PLAY:
The students will create their own bingo cards by looking at the sheet of place value block models of decimals and writing the standard form of the number on the bingo card. (To save paper, I showed the block models on the document camera) They can only use the number once per game card.
The teacher will choose one of the sets of calling cards per game. Call a number (I show the card on the document camera) in a different form and have students find the matching number written in standard form on their cards. Once they have four in a row, they win.
