Description

Need a fun way to introduce decimals and fractions to your students!! There's nothing better than hands-on and eating your math work!!!

This is one of my student's favorite lessons each year! This lesson requires a 1/2 cosmic brownie per each student. Be sure to get permission before using food as some schools do not allow food in the classrooms.

Student follow along a the PowerPoint slides and create a base ten block into one hundredths. They are then guided to eat certain hundredths each time. They will also follow along with a printed base ten block to shade with a pencil throughout the lesson!

This lesson is hands-on and very engaging! Please let me know if you have any questions at archersallstars@gmail.com

Thank you,

Rachel
