Decimals to Dollars
CCSS: 4.NF.C.6

Students practice using decimals in tenths and hundredths in money form to make groups of 10.

A card is drawn with a monetary value (.01, .10, .20, .30, .40, .50) and students select the appropriate coins to match that amount. When they have a group of 10 pennies, they trade them in for one dime. When they have a group of 10 dimes, they trade them in for one dollar. The goal is to get the most one dollar bills by the end of the game.
