This is an activity to help students understand that throughout life we have to make decisions daily. There are positive and negative choices for every decision we make. We get to choose which way we go, and that choice puts us on a path with a consequence. Positive choices = positive consequences. Negative choices = negative consequences. For every action, there is a reaction.
In this activity, the students must move down the road until they hit speed bumps. These speed bumps give a situation. The students have to write a positive and negative decision that could be made, along with the consequence for that decision.
There are nine speed bumps. This download includes PDF files and word documents. This way you can change the speed bump situations according to the needs of your students. It also comes with a colored version and a black & white version. The font may change if you use the word documents and do not have the same font downloaded on your computer.
This is great for a small group of students or can be done one-on-one. This activity should create great conversation between you and the students.
