In this activity students will create a song that depicts the essential elements of the Declaration of Independence. This activity requires students to think critically about the Declaration of Independence while synthesizing information to fit a popular song. Once students have created their song they must write an explanation about how their song meets the requirements set forth in the rubric attached.
