This is an activity that I have implemented in my classroom, following an introduction to and about the Declaration. It can be used as independent work, paired worked, or both. I chunked it into parts. I gave the vocabulary as homework, the acrostic and paragraph as independent work, and finally, paired work on the questions. I allotted approximately 2 - 50 minute class periods for this activity.
