Product Description
ALIGNED TO THE NEW NYS GLOBAL HISTORY REGENTS II (JUNE 2019)

In this activity, students are asked to analyze and paraphrase sections of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and determine which philosophers are represented in those sections.

Students are then asked to either write a paragraph which explains how the Declaration of the RIghts of Man demonstrates Enlightenment ideals using text evidence (LOWER LEVEL) OR respond to the Declaration using ideas from individuals like Thomas Hobbes who were against these ideas (HIGHER LEVEL). Both activities require students to demonstrate their knowledge of both the document and the Enlightenment.
