Description

I love creating products to make my small group reading intervention groups more effective. I know the importance of incorporating decodable texts into early reading instruction. I wanted some seasonal texts that I could easily send home with kids.

This free set is part of a bigger winter-themed decodable bundle. The following products are included in the bundle:

Max the Dog

I gave each student a quart-sized zip top bag. I used the freezer version to make them just a little stronger. I used permanent marker to put kids’ names on the bags along with a short note to parents about listening to their child read each night, then sending the bag back to school to get more books. So far, most kids are coming back with the bag! Since I don’t have a great deal of money invested, it’s not a big loss if I need to replace lost bags or reprint a book or two.
