Decoding & Encoding Visual Resources, aligned with SoR, Set 1
Share

Description

I created this collection of 37 colorful posters, easy to print (tabloid size), and aligned with the SoR to help teach and reinforce decoding and encoding rules for any systematic phonics program. They are an excellent resource and remind students of the rules needed to become efficient readers and writers. They can be displayed on classroom bulletin boards or incorporated into anchor charts. If space is a challenge, they can be created into flip charts by placing posters together with metal rings. These are appropriate for use individually, with whole class instruction, guided reading groups, or intervention groups and can also be displayed at literacy centers. I display posters that correlate with the unit that I am teaching, then move them to a reference wall.
