ABOUT:
I created this list for my older students who need more practice with decoding soft “g” and “c” words, but have large sight vocabularies. (Most soft “c” and “g” decoding drills contain short or frequently occurring words that are instantly recognized by older readers.) I scoured many different word lists and books to find these less commonly occuring words with soft “c” and “g.” Most older dyslexic students will not be able to instantly identify these, and will therefore have to decode.

The simple black font (Arial size 14) and 1.5 line spacing ensure that the reading can be used by those with visual sensitivities.
