Everyone will love math with Decomposing Love Bug! This loveable bug comes with oodles of colorful polka dot heart spots. You will even get an extra twin bug so you can build numbers and compare them. I use this as part of my morning number routine, but this activity is also perfect for small group instruction and centers.
You will get two colorful Love Bugs and multiple sets of polka dot heart spots for ones, tens, and addends of ten to build numbers to 120. This set also includes 34 printables to practice decomposing numbers, addition, subtraction, fact families through 10, place value for teen numbers, place value to 100, and comparing expressions. There are pages with given whole numbers and blank pages for students to build their own numbers. I like to slide these printables into a dry erase sleeve so little ones can build numbers again and again at math centers.
You will also receive a black and white version of the Love Bug and all of the heart spots. Your learners can decorate their Love Bugs and hearts to build numbers at school or at home. You can also assemble the Love Bug and printable to make an adorable craftivity. This interactive activity is a perfect way to add a little love to your math plans!
