Students will love decomposing teen numbers into tens and ones with these puzzles. This product includes 2 versions to provide differentiation for your students. In the first version, students will build puzzles by matching the number to base ten blocks (10 on one puzzle piece and units on the other puzzle piece). In the second version, students will build puzzles by adding numbers (10+ones) to make the bigger number.
These are great for printing and laminating in a center. You might also choose to make a copy for each student in your class. Students can cut them apart and glue the puzzles together on a large sheet of construction paper.
