Product Description
This adorable Christmas activity includes the cover sheet, 4 different blank sweater templates to use and a parent letter.

Decide which template or templates you wish to use. Print the sweater template or templates on heavy paper and send it home with the parent explanation letter.

Parent and child will decorate the sweater together.

Parent Letter:
"This is a Do Together Parent/Child Homework Activity using “stuff” and glue. Your child has brought home a blank sweater and hopes to bring back a completely decorated ugly sweater. It should not just be colored, it needs something on!

It can be covered with whatever, but it must stay attached when hung up. Plus it shouldn’t be so heavy that it won’t stay taped to a wall.

Suggestions for stuff decorations: glitter, pompoms, egg shells, glue, tissue paper, felt, foam, sprinkles, colored rice, beads, sequins, shells, feathers, flowers, nature materials, sand, fabric, papers, foil, string, toothpicks, lace, cotton, batting, salt, spices, clay, yarn, whatever you have around the house.

Thank you for helping your child with this project! Please send the Ugly Sweater back the following Monday!”

When finished the student will bring it back to school to share, it then becomes a prompt for story writing and telling.

It is always fun to see the different methods of creating an ugly sweater!
