PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a great Powerpoint presentation that can be used to review inductive and deductive reasoning, as well as laws of syllogism and detachment. It will work great as a review after the notes, a review a day after learning the material, a review before a quiz or test, or just an activity that you want students to be able to practice reasoning skills

When I used this in class, I had my students write their answers on dry erase boards, and then I was able to quickly check them before clicking the answer. After some of the problems the original statement will be circled or underlined so that you can talk about why the answer was what it was. Below is break down of what is included in the presentation.

1 slide that have definitions, rules, reminders
1 slide that has 2 problems that students determine the type of reasoning that was used.
1 slide with 2 problems that students had to make a valid conclusion using the law of syllogism or law of detachment.
1 slide with 3 problems that students had to determine if a valid conclusion was made.

My students really liked this and it was a great quick and comprehensive review. After using it in class I added the underlines and circles because while teaching I realized that they would be helpful.

Hope you enjoy!
