Your students will love diving into this math center that incorporates three Common Core Math skills!
I print and laminate the Deep Sea animal mat and Deep Sea Animal Graph for each child in my center group. The students use a dry erase marker to count and categorize each different sea animal onto their graph.
The next step is to use the information from the graph to create and solve addition and subtraction problems. The students then solve each problem using the laminated Deep Sea animal mat or any manipulatives you like.
Finally, the students use the information from the graph to compare numbers. This final sheet can be printed and cut vertically to make 2 answer sheets and save you some paper!
My students love these fun, colorful activities! Have a great time learning with this center!
If your kids love it as much as mine do, check out my “Mario Brothers Graphing and More!” math center and my “Animals In The Tall Grass Graphing and More!” math center.
