Product Description
This document is aligned to the Common Core Math Standard 1.G.1 "Reason with shapes and their attributes" for first grade. You will receive seven pages of worksheets for children to learn about the defining and non-defining attributes in 2-D (Two-dimensional) shapes. Some of the vocabulary words included in these worksheets are: circle, triangle, rectangle, corners, vertices, sides, attributes. These worksheets will ask students to use higher levels of thinking from Bloom's Taxonomy. These geometry worksheets can be used as assessments, pre-assessments, class work, or homework. If you teach in a Spanish immersion, bilingual, or Dual Language environment, I have also made a Spanish version. These pages were designed by Jennifer Keddie de Cojon.
