This is an "old school" activity I created years ago and still use with my College Prep kids for Civics/Government. Basically, groups are assigned with a philosopher (I used ones specific to Ca. State Standards), create a poster following certain directives, then once complete, all put them on the wall for a "gallery walk". In typical fashion, they rotate taking notes using the boxed sheet provided. I have left it so you can provide the point values you wish, but everything else is complete. Students will need to find sources on the web, or you could provide them. Alternatively, the activity could be modified into Powerpoints created by each group (rather than a poster).
