This product is a lab activity and CER writing all in one. It is used to help students understand the concept of density. Students measure the mass and volume of density cubes and then calculate the density. They use the density and appearance to identify the density cubes. Then students use their data to write a scientific explanation using claim, evidence, and reasoning. The claim, evidence, reasoning method of writing an argument in science has been proven to increase student achievement and understanding.
Have you hear of CER but you’re not sure how to use it? This product has everything you need to complete a successful CER activity and writing. Do your students know how to write a CER already? This product has what you need too!
