This five question exit ticket has students define density, calculate densities using the density formula, explain why an object is or is not very dense, and use density to explain why some objects sink or float. Four questions are multiple choice. The final question is fill in the blank.
The exit ticket provides a quick check of understanding for both students and teachers. There are two copies of the same exit ticket on one page so the teacher can reduce copying time and paper waste by printing fewer copies and cutting them in half. A second, one-page version with larger font is also included.
This resource can also be purchased at a discount as part of the Density Package
, which comes with four Interactive Notebook pages, two worksheets, three lab activities, one project, and one assessment. This exit ticket is also a part of the Middle School Science Exit Ticket Super Package
