This dual-sided, ten question worksheet gives students practice using the density formula and answering questions about sinking and floating. Five of the questions are about finding densities of objects using given masses and volumes. Two questions ask whether a certain density will sink or float in water. Two questions are about the particles in objects with different densities. The final question has students answer a question about density in a paragraph.
Two example questions from this worksheet are:
What is the density of a liquid with a mass of 25g and a volume of 5mL?
A liquid has a density of 0.24g/mL. Will it sink or float in water? How do you know?
