Dental Health Month:Passage and Questions - This pack includes a short close reading passage with basic facts about Dental Health. The passage talks about fun facts, such as: February being Dental Health Month, tooth decay is the most chronic disease in children, how long you should brush, how to brush, what plaque and tarter are, and so much more!!

This is a perfectly fun high-interest passage to use any time during the month of February. Despite the fact that it is titled Dental Health Month,you could really use it any time you are learning about good oral hygiene.

IMPORTANT---- I offer this SAME passage in two different formats. This particular product is a one page passage with 6 text-based questions that go along with the passage.

This passage was written with 4th graders in mind, but it can be used with more advanced third graders or weaker fifth grade readers. Please use your best judgement.


What's included?

This pack includes a one page reading passage that should help students better understand some Dental Health Month and good oral hygiene.

In addition to the passage, there are 7 questions. One is on the definition of preventable, one is on the result of not removing plaque, are 5 other questions.

An answer key is also provided.
