This is a complete set of Depth & Complexity (GATE) frames for all three units in Junior Greatbooks Series 4, Book 1. Frames for stories include: "Thank You, M'am", "The Gold Coin", "Tuesday of the Other June", Prot and Knot", "Chin Yu Min and the Ginger Cat", "The Nightingale", "Fresh", "Thunder, Elephant, and Dorobo", "All Summer in a Day", and "Beauty and the Beast".
Each frame contains the highlighted/target words from the Teacher's Edition to define, ("Language of the Disciplines"), and three other icons that are pertinent to that story. In the center of the frame is the story title inside and a box where students can illustrate a scene from the story. (For "Ethics", I've include the words "right" and "wrong" for students to list examples of each and for "Multiple Perspectives" I've listed the characters through whose minds the students need to think.)
(Although this is GATE, I use these frames for my whole class and get positive results!)
