Are you struggling to learn all the new initiatives your district has placed on your plate this year? Are you fully implementing the CCSS and switching from Bloom’s Taxonomy to Webb’s Depth of Knowledge? Are you finding that everything you thought you knew, now no longer applies?
If that sounds like you, make your life a little easier by using these DOK labels. All you have to do is place the correct DOK level in the corner of the worksheet/project/lesson plan and you can easily see if you are teaching and assessing all four levels of the DOK all without constantly looking up the information time and time again. For my own personal sanity, as my team finished each CCSS unit, I placed the corresponding DOK level on each lesson plan and activity. This way I only have to look up the information once and will always know right away which level I am teaching that day.
How to use this resource:
These labels were created for Avery Multi-Use Labels #5408 (3/4” round labels on 4x6 in. paper)
When printing your labels you must change the paper size to index card 4x6 for proper printing.
Insert your labels so they will print correctly in your printer and select the pages of this document you want to print (pages 5-10).
Then just look up the DOK level and peel and stick them on your documents.
