Description
This communication board can be used during an apple unit in conjunction with AAC or as a visual for students with expressive/receptive language difficulties. (In the past I have used with students on the autism spectrum)
I have used this board during speech groups by having a bag of apples and previewing the describing vocabulary before having each student select his/her own apple and telling the group about the apple.
This can also be used with an apple-themed “show-and-tell” to help students with presenting to a small group or to the class, which might be a nice way to end your apple unit!
