This lesson is an interactive power point that teaches students to describe locations with prepositional phrases and give addresses in Spanish. I included an audio recording of a poem for students to learn and other audios that can be used to assess students' comprehension. There are multiple listening and writing prompts to assess students understanding. The poem uses Total Physical Response techniques for students to demonstrate body motions to act out the vocabulary meanings. There is also a link to a map of a shopping center and an activity for students to guess what place is being described using the target vocabulary. I like to use this power point with white boards to informally assess students understanding of the vocabulary and grammar targets. The physical movement, listening, and writing assessments allow students ample practice to gain proficiency in describing location and discussing addresses in the target language.
