Product Description
These describing maps, created by Heather Bates, SLP, are a great way to develop vocabulary skills in your students. There are 2 types of maps. One is a pirate map where your students follow the path to find the treasure. The other is a detective map where your students follow the path and give clues to find the hidden item. These maps help students with identifying and providing a comprehensive definition. Students give the following information about an item:
1. Where do you find it?
2. What does it look like (parts, color, size, shape)?
3. Can you tell me more (how does it feel, smell, taste, sound)?
4. What is its category
5. What do you do with it? or What does it do?
In addition, there are 42 pictures for you to use or you can use your own pictures. Your students will love the cute graphics from: Pink Cat Studios and www.mycutegraphics.com.
