This is a dialogue activity after students have a foundation of town and businesses vocabulary, present tense verbs and basic descriptor vocabulary and is designed to be personalized about their local town or city. The dialogue and worksheets can be modified for teacher-guided, individual, group or whole class activities.
The two dialogues integrate multiple topics; Places, seasons, activities (conjugated present tense verbs and infinitives) and description topics. These interactive conversations will be a big hit with your classes because the students have control to leave the dialogue as written or they can personalize the conversation by substituting an underlined word for their choice of vocabulary. Provides an excellent review of integrated thematic topics for Spanish 1 or 2 and make a dynamic tool for end of the unit or end of the year reviews for any language level.
What is included:
• Two interactive bilingual town dialogues with open-ended expressions and vocabulary (There are over 20 lines of interactive communication per person).
• An open-ended interactive fill-in dialogue worksheet
• Two matching activities
• Answer key

The dialogues are written at a beginning level using short questions and responses with expressions that are mostly reactive in nature but, allow the student to feel as if they are in a real conversation using Spanish 1 vocabulary. (Compares to Novice Level on the Foreign Language proficiency scale). The students also will be exposed to several more advanced expressions which provide challenge above the level.
