This describing the relationships in the place value system (3rd grade STAAR TEK 3.2B) resource came to me as I continue to search for “fun” ways to reinforce and teach our new TEKS. I want students to be able to work independently or with peers so I have kept the directions simple. I myself, as well as others, have used similar products with letters and numbers, but I KNOW you haven’t seen anything like this. Not only does this resource provide a HUGE amount of practice on describing the relationship in the place value system, it also helps students proactive the computation of the TEK without a word problem. There is a ton of flexibility with this resource. I hope you can find a way to make it work best for you and your students. I designed it to use very low ink as well. The next page has suggestions on how to use this resource as well as more details.
So--- How can you use this product? Myself, I like to have the Math Boggle board displayed in my classroom so students have access to it at all times. If you don’t have the wall space don’t worry! I have included a single page version of the board in this product. This way it can be a stand alone resource.
Here is what you get:
Full page number grid for non-displayed use!
Numbers ready to cut out and use on display.
3 quality TEK aligned problem solving activities to challenge ALL your students.
