Product Description
Object: Be the first player to collect 5 points, or select the number of points required depending on the amount of time you have to play.

The Cards: Each card has 3 segments. There are 2 different types of segments, attribute segments and the closing segments (identified with “X”). There are 6 different attribute segments based on the EET* by Sara L. Smith.

Matching Rules: Players match attribute segments. Closing segments cannot be matched, with the exception of the Closer Card (the card with 3 closing segments). The Closer Card must be matched to at least 2 closing segments.

Playing the Game: Six cards are dealt face down to everyone. The remaining cards form the draw pile. One card from the draw pile is turned over into middle, creating the game field. On each turn, a player attempts to match a card from his or her hand to one in the game field. One card is played per turn. If a player cannot make a match, that player draws a card and plays the card if possible. If no matches are possible, it’s the next player’s turn.

Closing the Game Field: Within each round, the game field may be closed several times. When the game field is closed, the player who closed the game field earns 1 point. Players keep the cards in their hands, the cards are cleared from the middle and a new card is flipped over. Play continues with the player who matched the last card (or played the Closer Card) going first.

There are 3 ways to close the game field.
1. The Closer Card is played.
2. Every player has drawn a card, has not been able to make a match, and play has returned to the first person who had to draw a card.
3. A card is played that prevents any other cards from being matched.

Optional Rules: If a player is able to match 2 attribute segments at the same time or if a player uses the Closer Card, all other players must draw one card from the draw pile.

Ending a Round: A round is over after a player matches his or her last card. That player receives 1 point. All cards are then collected, shuffled, and 6 new cards are dealt to each player. A new card from the draw pile is flipped over and play continues with the winner of the previous round.

Winning: The first player to 5 points wins!
