This fun lesson helps your students become better descriptive writers. Students are asked to draw a monster and write a detailed descriptive paragraph of their monster. Next, students give their descriptions to another student. The student must draw the monster based on the description but without seeing the drawing of the monster. After the monsters are drawn, the fun part is matching the new monsters with the original.
My students love this lesson each year and it really motivates them to be better descriptive writers.
I really appreciate ratings. Thank you!
