Students will take basic shapes and describe them with strong verbs, adjectives, and adverbs to bring them alive. For instance, a triangle is really a hot, juicy slice of pizza with bubbling cheese that drips down the side. Students will be given three shapes (triangle, circle, and rectangle) to work from and space to create their own fourth shape. After writing their descriptive paragraph, students are asked to color and decorate the shape to make it resemble the words they crafted.
