In this lesson students will learn how to use the five senses to write a memoir of their own. The process is broken down into parts. The first part helps them to make dull boring sentences into something creative using descriptive writing. The second part has them pick an event to write for their memoir and focus on sensory details. The last section focuses on the writing process. There is vocabulary to go along with the lesson, a rubric for the memoir, and some extension projects for the final result.
