This NO PREP game is a fun and interactive way to practice places vocabulary found in Descubre 1 Lección 4 along with the verb "ir". This product includes 2 game boards, one in black and white and one in color. Each game has 72 boxes and features places on the vocabulary list in this unit along with some vocabulary recycled from previous units.
Additional materials needed: bingo markers in several different colors or something to function as markers. Dice are also needed for one version of this game.
The goal of this game is to take 4 boxes in a row: vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
Directions are included for 2 ways to play this game. For the simpler version, in order to win a box, the player needs to give the name of the place in Spanish, including the correct article. For the more challenging version, players are asked to formulate sentences using the verb "ir" in addition to the places.
Players take turns with play continuing until one person has won 4 boxes in a row.
Unlike a true Connect 4 game, in this version a marker can be placed anywhere on the board.
Players need to try to get 4 in a row while simultaneously blocking their opponent from doing the same.
Complete directions are included.
