Description

Practice nouns, verbs, adjectives, or a combination of those while designing your own scene! Students will cut out clipart to glue onto a premade scene. The scenes included are: arctic, desert, grassy area, park, residential area, space, and ocean. The background is there for them. All they have to do is color and use the clipart to design their scene. Everyone’s will be different! Then they will describe the scene using nouns, verbs, or adjectives. After they use the included note taking list to jot down their words, they can use them in a story format on the provided paper. I’ve included primary and upper elementary lines, as well as reduced the size for the writing template in case you are expecting less writing. Students are in charge of their own design and will be more excited to describe their picture.
