The year is 1000 C.E. and your students are artisans who live in Europe during the Middle Ages. They have recently been hired by the king to create a currency to reflect the daily life and culture of the Medieval Era.

The purchased product includes a detailed direction sheet with seven requirements, suggested topics and a one-page rubric, along with four currency templates (half and full page options). The product also includes a two-page chart to help students understand the currency of the United States Dollar and a teacher answer key.

Your students will love this project! Even though their illustrations and writing must be based on evidence, there is a lot of room for creativity.
