Sick of book reports? Looking a way to hold your students accountable for their nightly readings? A great way to inspire more reading in your class is to have your students design their own book advertisement.
Inspired by Ramona Quimby age 8, this project has students describe a character, pick our their favorite quote, and write a brief summary. It comes with directions, including an example for the kids to better understand the project. Their papers get folded up and then they can trade and promote their favorite book!
The project is designed in PowerPoint, so display on all Smartboards and projectors is built in.
