**Caution** This is not in the same "family" as my "Create-a-" animal series.
I created this Design a Reptile to use with my high school Zoology course. This is an activity I use at the end of the reptile unit. Each student or group is asked to design a "new" reptile. They will pick which biome it lives in, and then focus on anatomy and behavior adaptations that will help their animal do well in their chosen habitat. Students create a book, where each page spread has one page for illustrations and one page to describe certain adaptations. Students usually need a couple of class period to think and create their reptile, and then create their book. You may introduce it in one class period and allow students to work on it outside of class, or allow a period of 2-3 days to create and share animals.
You will receive a 3 page Word file that contains 1 cover page, 1 student instruction page, and 1 grading rubric page. The file is saved as a Word document, so you may customize with your own information as needed. If you have any questions - I'd prefer you ask me BEFORE purchasing rather than leaving less than flattering feedback after purchasing. :)
