Description

Your students have been hired to design and build a new toy that will be marketed across the country this coming holiday season! Build a prototype, design a magazine ad, and fill out a self-reflection journal.

Print and digital versions are both included, making this resource perfect for any combination of in-class instruction, distance, at-home, or hybrid learning, asynchronous learning, or independent student-directed learning.

Integrating Literacy and STEM, this collaborative, hands-on activity fosters team-building, critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, communication, and social skills. It also allows you to assess your students' learning and communication styles.

This multi-disciplinary activity makes a great Back-to-School activity or activity to use on test days or those half-days just prior to a holiday to keep students engaged in meaningful and proactive learning.
