This project brings angle puzzles to life with real world application. Students design the layout of the downtown area of a new town. This project uses problem-based learning that puts the student in charge of their own learning. Students design their own downtown area following criteria that limits where buildings can be placed based on intersection angles. A full lesson plan, probing questions, modifications for Special Needs students, and a rubric are all included. Fully meets the intent of the CCSS 7.G.5 standard!
