I first saw the idea for Desk Pets on TikTok and Instagram. There are many different ways teachers are using them, so feel free to experiment with what works best for you and your class. I introduced them to my students in the Spring, and they immediately bought into them. I had students who weren’t completing their homework or needed extra incentives to complete classwork began completing it! Desk Pets have been a game changer, and I'm excited to implement them in my classroom again in the Fall. I hope you love this pack as much as my students and I do! :)

The pages in this pack helped me to organize and keep track of the students’ choices of desk pets. There are also labels, passes, writing pages, and a binder cover included that you can use to help you implement Desk Pets. If you purchase this pack, please let me know if you are in need of additional resources to be added as you are using Desk Pets and I’ll add them to my to-do list. I've added a bulletin board kit and writing pages to help you create a Desk Pets display in your classroom. There are a few choices of letters and animals to choose from, as well as writing pages you can choose depending on your students' abilities.

***Some teachers prefer the word “Rescue” rather than “Adopt”, so I included a set using the term “Rescue” and a separate set using the term “Adopt”. Please print the pages you prefer.

***There are also editable PowerPoint files in this pack that you can use to customize your labels, agreements page, and certificates.
