Kids love referencing the charts in our rooms, but some of them need reminders that are a little bit closer.
Print these reminders on colored paper and tape them to your students' desks. They are more likely to remember to leave spaces between their words, for example, if there's a visual reminder close to their writing space.
Included are reminders for handwriting, raising your hand, packing up, short vowel sounds, and the "bossy e" rule.
When they finally master that specific goal they are working on, kids look forward to getting a new one taped to their desk. It's been a great addition to my classroom.!
