PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

These are two evidence sheets used while teaching a Desmond Tutu Unit. Use these in Literacy, when learning about South Africa, when learning about Nelson Mandela or more.

Use the texts: Peace Warriors (the Desmond Tutu Chapter) and Desmond and the Very Mean Word, a realistic fiction text written by Desmond Tutu.

Students can compare the two texts, look at author's purpose, theme, and then reflect with a writing piece on the unit. After using these to teach, I made a wonderful bulletin board with these displayed.
