Product Description
This engaging activity will help your 4th – 6th graders gain library catalog search skills while learning about the Young Reader’s Choice Award nominated books. Student activity pages are customized for both Destiny and Destiny Quest as well as your own library catalog system. Students in Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana and Washington may vote for their favorite of the eight titles in March.

This product includes posters explaining the YRCA award, student activities for either Destiny Quest or Destiny (plus a generic page if you do not use Destiny), screen shots of examples that show how to find the information, weekly drawing slips, ballots, and bookmarks. Also included is a link to a compilation of book trailers for the eight titles.

Titles included for 2019:
• Dog Man by Dav Pilkey
• The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill
• It Ain't So Awful Falafel by Firoozeh Doomas
• The Key to Extraordinary by Natalie Lloyd
• Ms. Bixby's Last Day by John David Anderson
• Pax by Sara Pennypacker
• The Wild Robot by Peter Brown
• The Inn Between by Marina Cohen
