These number posters are a perfect resource for reading and writing numerals, while representing numbers as objects with a written numeral. Each card has the numeral, the number word, a 10-frame, and dominos to show the dot patterns. The child can quickly see that a 10 can be thought of as bundles of 10 ones and numbers larger than 10 are composed of tens and ones.
My littles love having their own set of cards to use while doing their seatwork. I laminate these and put them on a ring that can be clipped into their math binder or a hook.
I have also included a set of activity cards that have multiple ways to use. I have included ideas for using as practice or even as assessments. There are 11 sets of 4 cards showing 4 ways to represent number 0 to 10. That's 44 card cards!
These would also be good for those 2nd graders who need some additional help with number sense and patterning.
