Students will determine the equation of a line by observing ordered pairs, and graphs. Two different types of graphs are used. One has ordered pairs graphed, and the second has equations graphed. Task cards also include, determine a equation of a line that is parallel or perpendicular to a linear equation that goes through a certain point on a coordinate plane.
Students will match task card number with appropriate letter to answer the riddle: Why is the mother kangaroo unhappy when it rains?
