Engage students with the opportunity to analyze given measurements of volume. Cut apart the volume cards and allow students to practice independently, with a partner, or in a small group. These cards are great for seatwork, formative assessments, or collaborative learning. Give students the set of cards and have them to sort them into two piles: yes or no. The yes pile will represent the cards that have the correct volume measurements for the displayed rectangular prisms while the no cards will have incorrect measurements. Students will determine the correct measurement for the cards that have incorrect measurements.
