Product Description
An important concept in reading is for the students to understand the character, as well as possibly identify with the character. Sometimes when reading a book, students may need to break down the characteristics of the character. This concept of understanding and identifying with the character is also critical when a student has to develop their own character for their own writings. In this packet, the concept of characteristics is briefly explained. This packet can be made into posters for whole class lessons or students can use it during independent working time. There is a diagram included which students can use to break down or develop the character. If a student is unable to write words, then they can draw pictures. Otherwise students can write words or sentences in the boxes provided.
