Product Description
These are tips that can be photocopied and given to parents to help their children develop a love of reading and become more proficient readers in the process. Developing a love of reading is key to proficiency. Teachers and parents have to work together as a team to "hook" their children into developing a love for the written word. Every child is unique and there is a need for multiple strategies to be used to help students, especially struggling students, develop a love for reading. As a teacher of young students, I have found that at least one of these strategies matches the diverse needs of students. Reading will never be "boring" again if these tips are faithfully followed.
