This is a hands on project that I assign to my students during the life span unit that we cover in psychology. This project enables students to really stop and critically think about the major life changes that have made them the person who they are. I have included both the template example and the rubric with very specific directions for this project. This assignment asks students to research and recreate their own maturation process by interviewing their parents or other family members who have watched them grow and develop.
After they have gathered the information they need, they will recreate a timeline of their major emotional, physical, or intellectual developments.
