PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The following is an application activity in which students watch and episode of Seinfeld and apply Deviant Behavior to the characters actions and behaviors in the episode shown.

Students are provided a worksheet/chart in which they must look for and state the following:
- Two examples of Deviance from Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer.
- One example of Social Control described and labeled as External or Internal Social Control from Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer.
- Describe one of the four main characters Deviant Behavior which was displayed in the episode from one of the key theories of deviance (Strain, Control, Labeling, Differentiated Association, etc.).

Students truly enjoy this application activity and as a teacher I can gauge of well students grasp the key concepts and components of Deviant Behavior through this activity.

Plus, who doesn't like Seinfeld!!
